Not sure I'm "Feelin'" my new ebay grill

I found this on ebay for $56 including shipping. Soo I couldn't pass it up. I've been trying to save for the active tuning grill, but other mods keep getting in the way.
If I am to keep this one for a while I will for sure get it painted. Either black or hyper black/ smoke/ gunmetal, to match the wheels.
I'm gonna try to photoshop those colors tonight sometime, but I also thought about coming up with a new grill using this one as a "canvas" for bondo/ mesh. Any one want to give me a hand with the photo chop, feel free to chime in.

That looks like the trenz grill i had a while back. You can painted black and it will look much better with your set up.

Thanks for photoshop. The right hand side of the darkened grill looks like the color I was thinking of painting it. Looks like the "hyper black" color of the wheels.

Thanks, everyone for your response. I appreciate the honesty.

What if I used the aluminum grill as a "canvas" and fiberglassed this on?

That grille doesn't fit into the opening correctly, [too straight] there should be a slight "v" bend in the center

Looks like a Trenz knockoff and before installing you should have slightly bent the grill for a more rounded shape, looks like it has wing tips...

Active Tuning or RedlineMax (if you can find one) FTW.

Or just gut your OEM grill, cu-off the tooth and instal a nice mesh thats powder coated black.

Your choice.

Hi Maxxx, Just thought you might want to see what I did with my grill (grill-friend) LOL!
The emblem is a Japanese Nissan trunk. I had to shave off the notch and I eyeballed it the best I could. Let me know what you think.

Again,
Thanks for the Honesty everyone. That thing doesn't work on a black max.
I took it off after about 24 hours, and put my stock one back on.
I painted It black, the nissan burger's circle is now black withe the center stripe left silver. I took the black off the "NISSAN" word in the center stripe and left that a shiny chrome, then took some 600 grit sandpaper to the chrome center strip and made that a "brushed" metal look.
I'll get some pics up in another thread.
I've been trying to save the $300 for the active tuning s4.1 grill but keep spending on other 'lil mods.
Next on my list.
Window Tint.
Zinc plated Rotors.
Paint Calipers.
Ypipe
I.M. Spacers
Magnaflows/Remus mufflers
Headers(cattman's, when available)
TS ECU

Take it off. It doesn't go with the shape of the front end.

But off subject what is up with this new forum. It use to be so organized and now it doesn't have any structure. Every thread is just shown. Well I was gone for about two months cuz my hard drive crashed. I log on and can't find anything or do anything. Any way I hope this gets better.
