Stupi Cd Changer in the 06

Hello All,
I just recently improved my stereo with some nice components up front and a subwoofer in the rear. Well I also just recently started nuying CD's but my freakin CD Changer from Nissan Blows Big time, because it is constantly skipping and all cd's are stoer bought. Has anyone have the same problem or anyone have a fix for it!

This is a common problem with almost all cars and all CD changers. See these threads for examples: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71276, http://tsx.acurazine.com/forums/arch...hp/t-1811.html

It happens to me sometimes while playing burnt mp3 CDs. There can be many reasons, such as bad CD, bumpy road surface, incorrect CD changer installation, moisture accumulation in the CD lens, and so on. I would soon be trying out a CD lens cleaner.

Here are some suggestions that you might follow: http://ezinearticles.com/?Ten-Things...Skip&id=367324

You kn ow I use a Cd Cleaner almost every day and It works good for about 25 seconds and it then skips again! I wonder if I was to get rid of the Factory Changer and try to get a Aftermarket one that can use a PIE controller to use it on the System?
I have the NAvigation on the 06 and Word on the street is taht you cannot replace the radio or lose the NAV. Kinda Stuck, wish I new it when I bought THe vehicle!

The headunit is bad. Go to the dealer and get it replaced if its still under warranty. I had mine replaced, second one was a bid ****ty but now it works 100% and I do abuse this thing. I mean I listed to the CDs alot.

Yeah I wish it played MP3s. That would have been better than and IPOD interface.
