Clicking brownie monsters in my wheels?

My cars only 3 weeks old. The day I bought it i noticed a clicking sound coming from the right side when I hit almost any size bump in the road. Sometimes I will hear it on the left side, but it has to be a big pothole. It sounds like a metal on metal click, not a thud or anything so I'm not too concerned. Maybe the disc brakes? Has anyone else experienced this with an 07?

I would take it in to the dealer and have them ride with you and hear it. Make sure you insist on being in the car so they can hear it. this way you aren't paying for nothing. keep a copy of your complaint just in case.

1. Call dealer.
2. Make appt.
3. Get fixed.
4. don't take no for an answer when they say its normal.

I don't know if this would be related, but when i step on the gas and she gets up to go, the car is very hard to control and likes to drift in random directions if your not gripping the wheel for dear life.

If it is struts, wouldn't that be related? I'm a car newb so I have no idea.

now thats irony, about 10 minutes after i posted on this topic the dealer called me asking how the car was. I told him about the issue and he said to bring it in tomorrow. Now the fun part will be going for a ride to have them hear it while I cant roll my windows down since I got them tinted today...

Well i brought it into the shop and we could only reproduce the sound once because it had just rained. He put it on a lift because he said it sounded like the ebrake cable, but then found that it wasn't. I have another appointment for next week when hopefully its not wet out to get a better diagnosis.

I'm going to keep this updated in case someone else gets this same problem.

The noise is gone!

brn, when you bring it in have them check the ebrake drum. Supposedly the ebrake on an 07 has a drum, and sometimes when someone drives a little with the brake on slightly is will make everything in your drum loose and start clicking.

At least thats what they told me, whatever he did it made the noise go away. he said he just tightened the ebrake.
