6th Gen Maxima PS3 Theme...
ok here are the instructions I used to upload it to my ps3:
Copy the file onto a detectable USB device or a one of the compatible memory sticks into the proper “Theme” folder ( \PS3\THEME )
Connect the device to your PS3 or insert the memory stick into the reader.
Under “Settings”, select “Theme Settings”, and then “Theme”.
At the very top, there is an “Install” option. Once you’ve installed your Theme to your PS3, your theme will now be selectable your “Theme List”. It should work for everyone as it worked for me. I did not download the file and try it myself though. I will try it for myself and make sure nothing happened with the upload. As far as the youtube video bare with me I am charging the battery to make the video.

Ok I clicked on the link and clicked on download. It didn't download right away so I clicked, the link on the page that opened, download file now. Saved file to folder, scanned for virus, no virus then I put in my sd card and deleted all the files. I created a folder called "PS3" and opened the folder. I then created another folder inside the "PS3" folder called "Themes". I then cut the File from where it saved and pasted it into the "Themes" folder. Took it out of the computer and put into my PS3. Went to settings and down to Themes. clicked X and them X again. Went to top where it says "Install" and clicked X again. The SD card came up and I selected it. Then the Theme came up and I selected that. Once it installed I went down to the theme and selected it from the list. Click on Apply and your done. Very easy once you do it the first time. Works the same for all themes. I will make a video for youtube as soon as this battery is charged. next hour or so.
here it is... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRTYMUBLkK0 again not good quality but never the less it is what it is. It looks great on my PS3 hopefully someone else puts a better video out so people can see it more clearly. Time for digital upgrades. New camera and new video recorder.
I did everthing you said to do and even brought a card reader. It shows on my laptop. On the PS3 it shows "there are no themes". Do you have to extract this to another folder before you copy to sd card? Man I am getting old not to get this to work. lol

take your sd card and put it in the computer. Open the sd card up. There should be a folder called PS3. Open that up. Then there should be a folder called Themes. Open that up. That is where you should put the file. then if you watch the youtube you will see towards the end how to install the file. Try this and hopefully it works. If it doesn't the only other question I would have is, "Is your ps3 updated?" If not you should update it because maybe there is a patch that allows you to add themes that you might not have.
hey ramberg send me about 8 pics of your or of cars that you want on your theme and I will make it. Process should be rather quick concidering the base is allready done. Then I will upload it to allps3themes.com and you can get it from there without using an sd card or usb. You will have to be connected to the internet with your ps3 though.

Its the new verison 2.41. It seems everything is on the sd card but its still not picking it up.
I honestly don't know. If your ps3 isn't seeing the file then it's not on the sd card. I don't remember if I had to format the sd card prior to using it on the ps3 or not. you might want to check into that. Like I said I did this and it worked. Maybe try downloading this file again. Might not have worked right the first time. Had problems like that before with other files I have downloaded. Let me see if I can download it to my ps3 directly from the site. Might work???? brb
http://www.ps3-theme.com/site/index....d=199&Itemid=3 here you go Ramberg. This is your own personal theme that you asked for. Turned out pretty good. Hope you like it.
Just a heads up. You don't have to use the BG's included with the theme. You can just choose a pic from the photo's tab and then use that while still keeping the icons for the XMB.
Unfortunately you can only set one at a time. To have a bunch cycle, they'd need to be included with the theme...just like Ramberg had done.
