Mark people will have their opinions and not everyone understands the term tactfulness when posting opinions, you've done some awesome leading edge mods and have contributed a great deal to performance enhancements for our community. With that said, you earned mine and many others respect. What's most important is you're happy and your ride meets your driving needs and expectations. On another note the sound is absolutey AMAZING!!!

It looks stealthy and awesome, but hey most people that dont like it prolly have chrome rims and some form of noise making subs in their trunks that just weigh the car down even further. They drive around the block half leaning back in their seats, one arm out the window listening to TUPAC with the base cranked. EPIC FAIL!

Deuski you turned this car into a true sports sedan, a car that schools evo's at lone pine. Keep on moddin my friend and schooling the tools.

Kamski
lol how do you voice your opinion towards audio ppl?? lmfao that just made no sense maybe ppl who listen to "tupac" and have a big bass box arent into driving fast. they dont find big wings on their trunk cool. maybe they drive slow so they could pick up gurls while showing off their 10 tvs and rims. if you want to be stereotypical. everyone into cars have a different liking. so your gona bash someone so you could feel faster?

i'ma ride the bandwagon lol its hott keep up the mods

Not really a clean execution, IMO. Sound real nice though.
The 3" pipe is hanging a little low and it's showing a lot. Although that's probably the highest point possible, but it's kinda hideous. And a single outlet looks weird in the wide cutout that's meant for dual tips. Maybe if the piping was black like your Vibrant muffler, then the install would be cleaner looking.

As stated previously I am not into the single tip (looks like something is missing, maybe because it's just different) but the sound is pretty nice. Might be a bit too loud for NY. I see people getting busted left and right in NY for "unreasonable noise / loud exhaust". Got one too....for CAI on steroids (Fujita Dragon)

As to haters on NYCM, I'd say there are some on every board whether car related or not. You like it and that is what counts. I don't like cars with 22" rims, does it mean I hate? No, it just means it's not my style. Everyone has different preferences so you have to expect bunch of people liking and disliking it. There are no lovers and haters, there are different opinions. Peace!

I like the sound and understand that this mod is purely for racing purposes and to benefit you. Who cares what others think, but I know they will share regardless as it has already been demonstrated.

Thanks to all, whether you like this mod or not. Special thanks to Chern and Kamski for their detailed and thoughtful opinions. I respect most peoples opinions, including those who disagree ir simply dislike this or any mod I do. This mod turned out a bit different than I would have liked. I really like the black muffler - an unexpected factor - but I really wanted a tip that was a bit bigger. I was looking at something that was flat on top and bottom, but rounded on the sides, almost like a flattened oval. I also wanted the muffler higher. There was absoultely no way for the muffler to be higher. The OEM muffs hang low and thats because the bumper guts are in the way. Tucked would indeed look better.

Did you ever check out this link of that Dynomax muffler? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abH8iCathkI
I like the sound and the look. It might be perfect for a single tip. I like the tuck on it and it fits the opening perfectly.

I looked at exhaust tips like that, but the problem is that he iddnt have tips in stock like that which would fit a 3" pipe. Its easy to find tips for 2.5" pipe or smaller, but 3" pipe becomes much more limiting in choice for tips. I suppose I can always change my tip later with little problem.

By the way, Ill try to get an in-car audio clip as well as a drive-by audio clip really soon.

DeusExMaxima: Those nycmaxima guys are friendly! i know from first hand experience

interestingly enough just like real life. everyone isn't nice...for those who some how think that because you're on the internet that is going to change, are in for a BIG surprise. stop acting like it's the end of the world when someone says it doesn't look good, they don't like it, etc. people are allowed to have their own opinions it's you fan boys who go off when someone says it look like crap that ruin it. Deus this isn't directed at you in any way shape or form.

performance wise it's a great improvement, especially if/when he goes FI.
looks wise it fails. horribly. on it's face. when compared to what it looked like before.

get over it people

yes he's the 1st to do it, yes it's nice in SOME ways, stop hating the fact everyone doesn't see it the same way and learn to accept other peoples opinions even if they do not coincide with your own. and for the last time NO ONE LOOKS COOL STANDING NEXT TO THEIR CAR. idgaf if it's a lambo or a corolla either way you look like a tool(no ramburg this isn't directed at you).

slamburg: i'm not scared of you. i never ****ed with your family. and don't start throwing out threats, because you never know where they will take you you know EXACTLY what this is in regards to and if you wish to continue it further you know Exactly where the PM button is. thats the last i'll say on this matter.

thank you. have a nice day.

The closest Ill come to that is cams and Im thinking about that now. I wouldnt mind another 15 hp. I gotta get TS to retune the car as it runs poorly at idle and cracked throttle as a result of the TS dyno tune, two weeks ago.

Depends on what cams you get, then again depends how much you want to spend

I say a 272 to 280 duration would fit nicely and depending on the tune you might get a real nice gain.
Just get HR head bolts, that should be about the only thing you really need.

I think most people lost objectivity of this thread. Deuski posted this here so that those interested in power mods could have an option.
The single 3" is a real power booster and it was designed as such. Plus it turned out stealthy.

I don't understand why everyone has to argue, if you like it cool and if you don't then thats cool too. No need to argue over someones opinion, lets all grow up and act like adults, people have opinions.

And least we forget, the hard work Deus has put into his car, lets congratulate him on that, no one forced him to do this but he has taken the time to be out side the box and make a great car and we should all remember that

Couldn't agree more, add me to the likes list, it was executed VERY nice as well, just need to finish/paint that cover (which is also killer BTW). Wanna race for pinks?

I bet you drive a 4th gen with a 5" muffler and chrome sills or accessories of some sort that compliment some retarded led's and a kickin' system.
