Considering 07 Max...not sure of the CVT...

Anyone have any problems with the CVT? I have seen some great deals on a few 07 maximas with low miles, but I am not sure about this transmission.

Alot of people dont like the cvt because of the way the car performs with the trans you cant hear shift. It takes a little getting use to but after a while you will not even notice. They are quick and reliable. My 07 maxima has 44k on it and i drive the hell out of it sometimes over 100 miles a day and problem free.I just keep up with every 3k miles oil changes and always use shells VPOWER gas preferable choice or pump premium gas at any other gas station,And it runs like a champ.Look at kevin007 cvt maxima running high 13s just with a fujita and catback.

how it will handle added HP or how the years will treat it is still unknown. if you're not going to drive it past 125k or 8 years i wouldn't worry myself.

Should be fine, if ur like most of the Maxima owners who refuse to perform maintenance, other then oil changes you will probably have CVT issues, drive it and get it serviced every 30k and it should last.
