Thumping noise when turning?

I've recently noticed while I'm making a turn there is a thumping noise coming from the right front strut area. It happens more often when I have a passenger or two in the car. It only happens when the wheel is turned (while in motion), and going over bumps accentuates the problem. What could it be? CV boot?

1. check your endlink. its a long pole that connects your strut to the front sway bar.

2. check the both bolt that holds your endlink.

3. look at your inner fender for missing plastic push pins. mabe your inner fender cover is hitting against your tire when you turn? it may be lose...

that is all i can think of........

I can remember there was a thread with similar issue. Searching might be a good idea. I'll be nice this time lol...

2 possible issues:

1.) If you hear a thumping noise while driving straight going over bumps, it might be your endlink.

2.) If you hear the thumping noise (sounds like a knocking metal) while turning the car in motion), it is an early sign of a bad HUB bearing. Pretty soon you will begin to hear the noise even when youre driving straight as it gets worse.

For easy testing to prove you might have a bad HUB bearing, Jack up the fron end of your car, try pushing the wheel (on the side that the noise is coming from) towards the car. A bad HUB bearing will make the wheel shake side to side.

Hope this helps.
