You need to open an account with a photo hosting site like Photobucket: http://photobucket.com/

Once open, in the Upload Pictures and Video section, press the Choose Files button and select the picture or multple pictures off your computer.

Once the picture is posted a drop down menu will display if you put your mouse arrow over the displayed image. Looks something like this: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/chernmax/super002s-1.jpg

Copy the IMG Code

Then go back to the Maxima.org post and paste the IMG Code into your comment or reply and it should show up when you hit submit. To verify, click on Preview Post to see if it shows up before clicking on the Submit Reply.

PS, don't thread jack!!!

Oh and welcome to the Org!!!

Mine does this too. I don't think it's your hearing. I think it has to do with the learning of the ECU. I do a reset and it changes the sound by alot. I recommend you try that and confirm that I am not senial

I just wonder about the quality of the filter itself... and how much dirt it is actually keeping out of the system...

i purchased and installed my jita on my 04 in mid feb. i simply love the roar and the sound of it. but this hydrolock issue simply worries me and i hate driving it in the rain cuz i always worry bout ti and its too much. i purchased a injen hydro shield and installed it but just last week it rained for days and when i was driving it in the rain my car started to bog down. i believe once the engine light came on for a sec or 2 but never stayed on. so now im breaking down and selling my fujita along with the hydroshield which is about 2 weeks old. so sad.....

Screw it. I got ambitious and installed mine.. total cost 78.25 (thats including the 2x hose clamps because the stock ones didn't hold it tight at all)

here are some pics.. much needs to be cleaned and done but it's in and it sounds great so far.

I can't believe I sam saying this but I can't wait to drive to work tomorrow to open it up on the highway!

Yeah, I also agree man -> the price on the Fujita is very reasonable...it almost begs you to buy it!!

Mine cost me like $230 however...(freaking Canada and it's customs tax...)

the K&N will go you no sound, the Fujita will ROOOARRRR.

the k&N will give you a small increase in hp and mpg. the jita will get you about 12hp and add a small increase on the mpg.

the K&N is about 60-70 bucks. the jita is 180.

personally i would get the jita.

try searching for them, I know I've seen them either here or on the other org.

When I tried the CAI setup, I loved the sound, could deal with the gas mileage, the car really seemed to be much more aggressive above 3500rpm, but I didn't like the drop in low-end torque. I do a lot of city driving (Houston, TX) and I like the low-end torque...a lot...wish I had money to get more I switched back to the stock airbox after about 2 weeks. The difference on mine was like driving a new car. The stock box had so much more getup "off the line" than the CAI. I could never spin the tires with the CAI at a dead stop, but with the stock I can...almost too easily.

it all depends on what you like though. the hp increase you'll see is in the higher band.

Your gas mileage should improve and your car will have better intake air for the lungs on your drive! You will feel better midband passing power also.

ive done a 4 hour tip to Houston, went to a car show then drove 4 hours home that night and my gas mileage did nothing but increase. the jita is much better for your car to breathe. and like chern said, improves your midband passing power.... i had a lot of ppl freaked out when i was driving down the interstate and decided to punch the gas hahhahhaha

Most all CAI perform the same, top sellers are NISMO (with hydrolock protection), Injen (can be converted to short ram), and Fujita (cheapest) and AEM. Depends more on your budget and taste now...

Check the GD section or the classified section here on the Org. Then Google "Injen Cold Air Intake" for the best price.
