Motor Mount Insert Issue

Whats up homies!!

Recently I tried to get the MMI's installed by my shop out here in NY. They said that the MMI's were "slipping and popping" off everytime they tried to place them in. They decided to cancel the mod until I get some feedback from you guys. So for you guys who got the MMI's installed, did you have any issues also? Is there a certain way to get them installed?

I am auto 5-Spd BTW. Thanks fellas!!

What sort of inserts do you have? Energy Suspension? Regardless, any competent shop with a good machine press should be able to press them into the motor mounts. I don't believe I've heard many issues when taken to shops with a press. When Tilley (TILLEYS99) helped me with mine, he actually used a wall mounted spring compressor, couple 2x4s, and Crisco, and we were able to pop them in.

Hey GrimMax let us know when you get them installed successfully and where, I've been dying to get these installed. Vipervadim might be worth getting a hold of if it's tough finding a shop though, IIRC he said he could def. help with it. Best of Luck.

Oh okay, nevermind then. Those are the ones that just fit into the gap in the stock insert, right? I've no experience with those, only the full insert replacements. Hope you get it worked out.
