Need opinions about eyelids.

I'm planning on getting some eyelids soon and need some input about which ones i should get. I'm torn between the black ones like Chern installed on his car and these carbon fiber ones which are $40 more than the black but looks awesome. Let me know which you guys think would look better on my color car. Thanks.

This is the one Chen has:

These are the carbon fiber ones:

I'd go with black vs. carbon fiber unless you have other CF in / on your car. You can also contact a member here on the .org (bluebat) I think and get the eyelids the same color I believe.

I think Bluebat makes the vinyl ones right? I really don't want vinyl's. I want the real thing.

wow kinda expensive IMO. I mean that's steel braided brake lines expensive. I personally would do vinyl eyelids the color of the car. If I had to choose between the two you where looking at, I would pick CF. I would spray it with a clear coat to protect it.

You're right Chern... I want to do a CF wrap on my engine cover, but the guy i'm talking to said he can't keep the v6 3.5 text so i might not do that. So it looks like if i only have that one piece of cf on my car it would look out of place.

You know anyone that that would be able to do a cf wrap of my engine cover and still keep the V6 3.5 txt and would do it for a good price?

And you want to keep the V6 3.5 text because......????

You could always add it as an overlay later on

i like the raised text... if if do overlay it would look kinda cheap, just my preference.

the way their designed I really dont care for, and i realy dont think they make that big of a difference, I think if it had more of a lip coming from the side of the headlight to where it resembles the new 09' headlights then that would look sweet, but to me just not worth it............. I would leave the headlights alone, maybe tint them............personally i'm just waiting for the IRON MAN headlights to come out for the max
