Front air dam/fairing came loose
Had a surprise yesterday. The wife asked what was hanging down underneath the car in front. Found out the front air dam piece had loosened at the rear and was indeed dragging on the ground. All the rear fasteners had come loose. With only 14,000 miles on the new-to-us car, I thought this curious. Has this happened to anyone else?

The air dam, or the splash shield underneath the car? Those things suck. I hate how Nissan attaches trim pieces like this. lol
Mine has come loose a few times. Just gotta get under there and hook it all back up.

Its a very common problem. Many of us just remove it and leave it off. Im trying to figure out a way to attach it better. Btw, it does serve a purpose: to smooth airflow under the car and to keep water and dirt away from engine compartment.

Ya I had a bad experience with mine.
I was driving down I-75 in North Florida heading home one night, Decided to Max out the Max (no idea why lol) Anyways, so its like 2am and its pitch black on 75, nothing but the occassional semi-truck on the road. So I gas it and hold, car hits 140 on the speedo when I start to hear this Helicopter swooshing sound coming from my engine... So I did what anyone doing 140mph in a boat would do, and immediatly freaked out. Pulled over on the highway in the dark and climed under my car (I do NOT recommend doing this at night in the dark) and saw that stupid *** piece of plastic dangling. All the clips had broken off. Apparently the wind drag under the car broke the cheap plastic tabs. Went to nissan the next morning and picked up a few tabs for about $1 each and fixed it. No issues since, tho I havent pushed my car to 140mph again lol.
