Radiator and High Temp Problems Please Read..This is odd

Ok...I got a hole in my factory radiator so I had it replaced here in town with a Koyo Radiator. After getting the car back the car would drive normal but then after 15 min's the temp gauge would go up to about 3/4 with the a/c on so I would have to turn off the a/c...this would bring it down it a little...It was like it was jumping. I then replaced that radiator with a better aftermarket performace radiator and it did the exact same thing. I've also replaced the thermostat and cap. Could it be beacuse I'm running the wrong coolant? Have too much air on the lines? Everything was fine untill I got that whole in the the first radiator. BTW--The car has never overheated or came close...It just pisses me off. I'm thinking of taking it too the stealership now to have it looked at.

Please any help or suggestions would be great..It's a 2005 SL Auto

Does it start to overheat just when your not moving? Are the radiator fans kicking on? I know its not cold outside but does the heater work? Did you purge the cooling system of air bubbles when radiator was replaced?

+1 on the pump being out. if you had a leak in the last radiator and the pump got air into it could have damaged the pump. check the service manual and see if you can troubleshoot it to the pump.
