I can't tell from the pics, but did you also black out the inside of the headlights or is it the angle of the pics?

After the 6.5 bumper and hood went on my '04 I decided to do the 6.5 lights as well- no more slamming that hood to close

Out with the old and in with the new

Installed 30 LED turn bulbs and a 6 OHM resistor to prevent fast blink...

Big thank you to Brian (aka TheAlliance34) for all the help!!!
Awesome Job, beautiful Max. Question, I have the switch backs also but have not installed them yet, please give me the 411 on the 6 ohm resisters you are using, I'm planning on dropping in my tranny cooler and since I'll be dropping the bumper, it would also be a great time to do it as well!

Yea, he painted the inside of his headlights. Well, not him, but I think Felix did. You get my drift. And slvr, don't trade your wheels, keep them, they look good on your Max.

Yes, the inside of the headlights were painted black. I'm going to get a few more up this evening. It's amazing how sweet painted 6.5 lights look!

Since you have the LED tails like me you will need to get (2) 6-ohm resistors and they will be wired in by each turn wire- so one for each headlight. Alliance did this for me so he can chime in on exact details of what wires to splice. I got the resistors from autolumination for $6.99 each, there the ones entitled " 6 OHM deluxe aluminum".

Don't worry the wheels are staying haha, I really do love them. The lights were painted by Nyana107 here on the org, he did a fantastic job. Felix did the 7 gen mirrors mounting and wiring to PCM, believe me Felix would not have had time to also paint the lights as the mirrors were a bit of work in themsleves!

By the way, I hope you put electrical tape over those spliced connections? I found that "snap" connectors from radio shack eliminates the need for insulation. If the bare wire comes in contact with any thing like water or metal(humidity) it could short, blow a fuse or relay and mess up you leds. Maybe fry the stock wires.

I believe that cars that are modified today should be about class....and your Maxima is the true representation of what "class" is all about. I just picked up a black '06 Maxima a month ago...and I definitely would love for mine to look like yours....well done!

I like the mirrors, reminds me of the TL. Where did you get the headlights as well and how much? If you got mirrors, are they still power and heated like the stock?

I got the headlights from a member on the NYC forums. With luck you can prob. get a set for $3- 400. The power works but not heated, I really didn't care to mess with that.

Does anybody have these stillen side skirts on their 07-08 max? Reason I was asking was because I called Stillen and they told me that they did not make these skirts for the 07-08 maxima -- 06 was the last year they made it for.

Def. should man the sideskirts really add to the car! The rims are staying OEM silver- I love silver rims on a black car.
