300 plus tq and still in the 13s? i dont trust mustang dynos...the only dyno i deal with is a dyno jet because they are more accurate ( sometimes they can be a PITA also)
if im not mistaken kevin007 make over 300ft/lbs of TQ and he was at the track twice a week if there was no rain so he had plenty of practice with his car AND i think his highest trap was 110
but i heard about your mods and with some practice, lightweight 17s and sticky tires you should get that record

Wheelie bars would be straight up overkill and never be necessary for a FWD car. A FWD car has a squat at launch but the wheel motion and TQ are up front so it will never lift the nose of the car at launch. Using coilovers or even KYB-AGX 8-way adjustable gas shocks will help eliminate the squat thus giving a more level launch which is a good thing. The more level the launch, the faster the tires will bite with better power transfer to the wheel, the faster movement down the track...

Yes because the car leaves the line straight (level) for better traction for the front verse squatting in the rear since we have front wheel drive cars. Not sure of the RacingLine traction rod kit, I do not have installed on my car!

Cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see some folks on here who know their shiz about their 6th gens. Drag racing has been in my blood since I was a kid (Government Motors), but now with a 2010 Max, it's time to change it up a bit.
13.1 @ 110 (?) is nothing to be ashamed of for a big FWD 4-door V6. I really don't have much to add as all the folks before me have given you the keys to hitting 12's. Just wanted to give you props on a car that's well done.
My best ET so far was 13.93 # 100.5 bone stock. Fellow 7th gen guy has proven that the Borla CBE shaves another 3 tenths off, then getting a prototype true CAI done next spring. Hope to be in the low to mid 13's next year all while being a sleeper![Big Grin](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
VQ35DE - FTW!

Hell, I'd be happy with consistent low to mid 13's all while looking bone stock. Did either of these guys get their car custom tuned before hitting the track?
