Alpine MRP-M1000 and MRP-F250. You probably gonna have to add a piece of board to support your amp. As you can see, I lost my split fold down capabity adding the support. I don't haul anything in the Max plus I have my sub box. I just gotta rember to bring the seats down at the same time.

mounted mine on my box. easy to remove the entire system if large cargo space is needed. 2 wingnuts, 2 wires, 2 rcas.
love my setup since i split my seats all winter for my snowboards.

Amps without caps? I would have at least .5 farad, or a bigger alternator. Maybe a solid battery(interstate or yellow top) is enough, but 1000watts, running what a 30amp fuse? I read a quote about the superchargers or turbos that has stuck with me. We are "exceeding the wildest expectations of nissan engineers"-I would think electrical would need a boost too. Maybe not?

It may be here in this thread when I first did it: http://www.6thgenmaxima.org/forums/a...g-started.html

But for the most part you just have to climb in there and start taking clips out. It's not that hard, just takes a little time underneath.

Make sure you dont drill anything into the trunk floor, like this guy's thread of what Best Buy did! LOL, just had to throw that in there...

if you have space for it, box-mounted is the way to go
