with maxima's there may not be such a thing as a smooth ride.....but if you wanted to stay close to stock, then you may want to look into KYB's GR-2's. thats what most dudes here will tell you...

I believe monroe sensa trc provide more comfort ride than KYB's suspension. KYB's are little stiffer than monroe specially in the region where temperature stays cold. At least that's what I was reading about KYB's.

I have the Monroes and love them. Better quality than stock and offer a less harsh ride. The KYBs are stiffer from what others have said. Chris350 is right too- on broken pavement the Max really shows it's suspensions limitations and no strut can make it Lexus-like. But on the highway or smooth roads I love the ride. The Monroes cost more but I would buy them again when the time comes.

I am kind of new to the forums still can’t start a new thread yet. I need help. I have a couple of issues. One is vibration at idle my passenger seat shakes and if there is anything in the cup holder behind the shifter shakes. The other problem I have is my tires keep getting cupped on the inside. I have gotten an alignment a couple of times and it doesn’t help. I didnt change my strut monts yet so when its cold i hear a lot of nioses. Any help will be great. Thank you
