Valve Body 4AT was 100% fine , Guess what was wrong?

I am a new member here and i will say i love the site i just got a 2004 maxima sl and i love it but i got it for so cheap and the reason that was cause it had a kick from 1 to 2 gear and the owner told me that i might need a new transmission in a few years not right now since the kick was very light, anyway i got the car from him i took it to my mechanic and the code i was getting was p0745 wich was a few thing but the main thing was that pressure control solenoid was not working or was damage so what i do i bought a valve body and install it and guess what i still had the kick from 1 to 2 gear , yes i was mad and didn't return to the mechanic till the next week to see if he can get it right this time like i knew he cud , he check in to the wires that go to the pressure control and guess what the wired was pop like there was no power going to the pressure control solenoid , so after some small wiring my codes was erase and i drove it and i soon as i get to 1 gear i am praying that it dont kick and it didn't problem fix, now i have and extra valve body for sale working fine 100% and for all of you who having problems with this it may just be some wiring that can fix it like my mechanic did i am glad i didnt go no where else they will tell me a million things is wrong when is just some wiring hope i help and PM for the valve body if you interested.

Yeah they was apart from the other wires like someone cut them or something , the ones that go to the resisters that controls The solenoids in the valve body thast why i was getting the p0745 code after he re wired the car was running 100% ,
P.S if the wires are good it might be a problem with the resister (change it) i hope that was better if not ask me just what you want to know i will be glad to help to the best i know and i if i dont know i will ask my mechanic he is crazy good lol

If you would use complete sentences, punctuation and words that make some sense, we might be able to decipher your post and understand what you're trying to say.

With regard to your fix, I hope it is as simple a fix as a shorted wire.

At BadBlackMaxSL the ATF that you see in that picture is from nissan thats the ATF it came with, but the ATF can be a red orange color , if your ATF is brown i think you may want to change it not sure but i am sure someone else will let you know what you need to do if your ATF is a brown color.

Got to love it! Nice to hear from you again Chern...still looking good man!
My car is now 6.5 years old and looks great cause I treat her right...and I still get a lot of compliments! I gave a lift to a business contact the other day and she asked me if the car was new! LOL! She even said that the car had that new car smell! She nearly fainted when I told her that it was 6.5 years old! ROFL! New mags...grille is polished for the new season, waxed and glazed...no scratches...you have to be up close with a magnifying lens to see any imperfections....and running like a Thomson's Gazelle! LOL!

Dafedexman,

I was a jerk for saying this and I'm sorry. I wish I could take it back, but I can't. Just really bad behavior on my part....please accept my apology.

Sincerely,
Jim

Agreed. However, we also have human brains that can deduct from incomplete, un-punctuated sentences; and words that don't make sense to figure out what the guy is trying to say. You also need to understand we are not in school writing graded papers, but rather a web forum where sentence structure, punctuation, and grammar is not a common practice. Never-the-less your point is valid as a person in need of assistance should be as clear as possible. If this is too hard to deal with you could always do something else. Like maybe become a grade school teacher where your actually justified in correcting a strangers method of speaking? You would also be able to see that the people you are correcting may not have been taught English as their first language and are doing the best they can trying to exist among a predominantly American, English speaking, support forum. It's kinda like getting mad at a black person cause you can't see them very well at night and you almost ran them over in an un-metered cross walk.

you can delete posts man, click the edit option and underneath is a delete option.

also don't get angry with my last post, i wrote it with a smile and don't really care. My friends get on me because i don't (more like refuse) to text with perfection and this "speech" is readily available from me. We harass the bajesus out of each other for it and its all in good nature, sarcastic fun.

FWIW, over a year later.

That's a 4AT VB, slight rarity in the A34.

Quite right, and definitely less prone to issues than its 5AT counterpart.
