HID replacements?

Hey I'm new to the site and I tried reading some of the threads about this first but wasn't exactly what I wanted answer wise. I have what I assume is the stock HID lights. Well by saying I assume, I know they are HID bulbs just not sure if they are stock or anything. Well they are starting to go dim it hard for me to see at night. at one point I bought new ones but didn't know much about the color numbers until later on and they were too blue for me I could barely see at all. My question is should I get another pair of the HID bulbs or is there another type of bulb that is really good n bright to put in place of the stock HID's. I was told HID's are the best out there but then I was reading something about HIR's. Do those fit in the HID socket for the lights? Sorry if this is already a thread.

Thanks

The ballast is the little square or box like thing the wires from the hid plug in.. Get new ballasts should be 40-50$ for decent quality. And if u want good visibiliy replace the bulbs with 6000k hid bulbs thats what i have and i love them, they are bright white with a tint of blue they are best for look & visibility 100x bettet and brighter than stock bulbs

Make sure u get good quality or they will break. I run Philips ballasts and 6k hids in my headlights & fogs...... Other route is u could take out the hids and get silvania super whites they are good too and not hids

No... The best are oem 4300k bulbs.
More blue = less light

Check the retrofit source.

All the chinese made crap is crap no matter how good they say it is. Its crap. I tried a few. They all suck and fail. Get something good the first time.
