07 maxima hid problem

Hey all, I'm in need of some help here.

I bought my 07 maxima in November, it's been pretty good except for my headlights! After about 3 weeks of owning it I had the drivers side HID light go out. $150 later I got that replaced no problems. However, about a month ago the passenger side headlight went out as well. When I went to get that fixed the dealership told me that the new bulb they put in didn't work.

They suggested I go online to try and buy a ballast - which I did - and I just took that to them and they told me the new ballast didn't work either. They told me I need a whole new headlight assembly. How is this possible? I've never seen/heard of this problem with any other car. Anyways, any suggestions on where to go from here?

Bull****, not like the housing will fix it. They have no clue.

Quality bulbs:

And then thats it.

I mean, it's either the ballast or the bulb.

I bought a brand new bulb from them and they said it still wasn't working.

I bought this ballast:
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Re...nt-HID-Ballast

And when I asked them to install it they said it was like trying to put a square peg into a round hole and that I bought the wrong kind. Should I just buy a ballast that has the same part number? (found some on ebay for around $25)
