05 Maxima Stuck in 5th Gear
2 weeks ago, I was driving to work and I was coming to a stop for a red light that turned green when I was stopping so I pumped the gas again to keep going. When I did that, I heard a clunking noise and my car had a hard time accelerating. I put it into the manual mode and noticed it was stuck in the 5th gear and the SES light was on. When When trying to turn the car back on at a later time, it would wind for about 3-4 seconds before it started up. When it started, it was still in 5th gear until about the next day and the engine was cold again. I took it to Autozone and they pulled a code which was p0340. I ended up replacing both Camshaft Position sensors to avoid the p0345 code as well. The SES light was off. My Maxima was solid for about a week until the same thing happened and the SES light came back on.Except for this time, when I turn the car off, my maxima started up quicker and was no longer stuck in 5th gear.
I took my car to my mechanic and he drew up a few codes. p0705, p0717, p0726, and what he said was other non related codes including p0420.
He referred me to a transmission shop, thinking that it might me one code setting off other codes. More focusing on code p0726, he believes it might be my ECM having trouble communicating with the TCM.
Can anyone provide some insight for me please?

P0705 is the park/neutral position (PNP) switch.
P0717 is the turbine revolution sensor circuit.
P0726 is engine speed signal circuit.
For P0705, see page 90 in the link below.
For P0717, see page 105.
For P0726, see page 113.

These three problems are not normally related. The only thing that would make sense is that the wire harness between the transmission and the transmission control module has been damaged. Or maybe the transmission control module has a problem.
