2005 maxima rough idle and strange random knocking

Hey there, I've got a 2005 maxima 3.5se I recently bought it about a month ago and I've been noticing these issues with it

Rough idle (feels like it's misfiring almost but no codes) it's idling at about 600-650

And also I appear to only hear it in the drivers seat while driving but a very noticeable knock noise or even a rattle it's hard to distinguish but I can't hear it whenever I pop the hood to try and locate the area.

So because these issues are driving me INSANE I'd love some third party input here to help diagnose yhe issue all I've got so far from multiple Google search would be

Spark plugs (checked them their NGK and have plenty of life)
Coil packs
MAF sensor

That's all I'm getting so far which are yhe typical issues for misfiring but since no codes + need some input here, please could somebody help this guy! Lol

Have you tried the idle relearn on it? Maybe it needs a reset.

My rattle turned out to be fuel pressure dampers. I could only hear it from the inside of the car. I had the "timing chain tick" too. No timing chain rattle, though.

I wonder if your timing chain "jumped a tooth" and that's causing the rough idle?

Timing chain tensioners probably need to be replaced or adjusted....

Do not believe that you have a timing chain issue. If you had the deaded timing issue you would hear it when you raised the hood. It is not a popping sound. Go to the internet and type in timing chain rattle 2004-2007 maxima and watch some video's.

Actually gentlemen I have figured out the issue

My buddy had a obd2 that checked all the engine readings and everything was doing what it was supposed to be so it wasn't an issue with the engine and he suggested something I feel stupid for not realizing, my engine mounts turned out to be the culprit now I replaced one that was really bad and that fixed the knocking issue all together but the misfire issue is still there another engine mount needs replacing (I'd replace all 4 but funds demand one at a time)

Oh and the misfire isn't actually a misfire it's a misfire feel due to one of the mounts so thank god it's not something to terribly complicated just got to wait a while for the funds to be there

Hi. Thanks for the Infor. I received more information about knocking. It's the timing belt plastic metal guide that broken. So I would need to most likely do a whole timing belt assembly repair. Since I'm already in there !!
