do i need new top strut mounts on stock springs? my struts went bad.. they are bounce alot in the front. i ordered Monroe OESpectrum hear they are little stiffer than stock but not as stiff compared to KYB..dont plan to drop the car just need to replace the struts at the moment.

 

Do not understand your statement "don't plan to drop the car just need to replace the struts at the moment". You must remove the struts from the vehicle to replace the struts, remove the existing mount, bearing and spring. If you are replacing the struts then yes you should replace the mount, bearing, boot and bumper. Since both Monroe and KYB have complete struts ready to install I would those units.
