Hey guys i just got my first maxima 06 sl and i have a few question.

1. The car came with no radio i'll install one in the next couple of days. I have notice that the buttons that control the screen are not working(screen works i can see the outside temp and whenever i turn on the ac.However i cant see time or access menu ). Does this buttons need a radio to work or i need to get that fix?

2. Car came with no overhead console, I was looking at one on eBay. I was wondering if the installation is only to connect the cable to the console or does it need to be program first in order to work?

3. I was adjusting the wheel and I notice it doesn't go in and out only up and down, is that normal or is it supposed to move in and out as well?

Thanks in advance for your help, and ill probably come up with more questions as I run the car more.

 

Hi Guazo, I'm new to Maximas and the forum also, but I have an 05 SL and the joystick control for the steering does control extension as well as up/down on mine. I would guess that it should on yours as well.
