Putting the Timing Cover Back on
Hey guys,
I just finished replacing the timing chain, tensioners, etc on my 06 Maxima, and I'm running into problems re-installing the front cover. I've already went through a tube of Super black rtv, because for whatever reason, I can't get the bottom seal to sit properly! it's driving me nuts!!!! I tried searching the forums to see if anyone else had this issue, but couldn't find an answer. If I sit the bottom of the cover (with the rubber seal ) on first, then I can't get the pegs on the sides of the cover to line up, and vice versa if I line up the pegs. Any tips, suggestions, VIDEO of someone putting it on (Youtube has NOTHING) would be great. Thanks in advance!
