07 maxima engine runs terribly

Hi Everyone,

Hopefully someone will help me with this :- I have the following codes, can anyone or has anyone got an idea of what I'd need to do to fix/replace/check on my engine to get it back up and running again without it shaking all over the place (running like its firing only on 3 cyls

my car was running fine then i pushed it a little to much (not a great deal though) was late for work, (normally I dont push it) and it started running like cr?p . it happened one time before when i pushed it about 6months ago, but the next morning when i started it, it had cleared and ran fine ever since till now!

I would focus on PO304 for now. Three potential issues:
(1) If the valve-cover is original, then I suspect that there is oil getting past the spark plug tubes rubber seals right into the spark plug chamber and thus causing your misfire code. Totally common issue for our cars.
(2) Spark plug is shot.
(3) Ignition coil pack, or ignition coil pack tube, is shot.

Quick and easy way to narrow down whether it is an ignition coil issue, or not, is to swap out cylinder 4's coil pack with cylinders 2 (PO302) or 6 (PO306). If the misfire moves to those cylinders, then you know it is a coil pack, coil pack stem, issue.

Now, if you pull the coil pack and the spark plug tube has oil in it, then just move on to replacing the valve-cover.

Well, it could have been replaced. Our cars are old. That said, if there is oil in the spark plug tubes, then replace that first because that will eventually start giving you misfire issues.

Then move on to the spark plug and coil pack to determine if they're working properly. Swap out coil pack with one of the others. If the misfire code stays at cylinder 3, then you likely have a spark plug issue. However, if the misfire codes follows to where you swapped out the coil pack, then you know you have a coil pack issue or coil pack tube issue.

ok there's good and bad news, bad is some.where along the way I read "the bad news is i,d have to pull the intake plenum off" .. God knows how i managed to get mixed up is a mystery to me, but u defo read this but must have been in a different post in my hast I did all this while waiting on someone kind enough answering me which cyl is which.. so anyways, good news the intake and related parts are all back in situ now(I can't remember when I last had that much fun, think it maybe it was the first time I soiled myself back in preschool days ... In the process I,ve swapped number 4 platinum sparkplug and also the coil, and ordered a full set of both from online store, so when they arrive, I,ll replace the lot. (Sparkplugs and coils.). Now I have the other issues to deal with any suggestions on what to do with them? Just to get me started on my new quest ..cruise control, my horn, and can only get reverse and not the individual gears function ( meaning when I select + or - whilest driving nothing happens other than staying in D drive. Thanks in advance

quest. see new screen shots for the codes
