I see you have the Sports package! A lot of goodies come with that. A real looker! I think he Sports version is very striking in a dark color, with the Premium looking better in a lighter color. Congrats! I am glad you really like this car. Please keep us informed on how it goes.

I'm a die hard manual transmission guy but I have to say, the CVT is awesome... no complaints at all. Here are a couple more pics:

Finally took the plunge...well the wife did. On Saturday, she drove home in a Winter Frost/Cafe Latte Premium/Tech, w/ mud guards and spoiler. We were treated very well by West Palm Nissan. 2k below MSRP and a subsidized rate by Nissan. We were very surprised by that since it is not advertised. We test drove the 08 G35 and the Max back to back and both agreed on the Max even though with .9% financing the G35 wouldve been cheaper. The Max just seems more car, interior is leaps and bounds better than the G, plus the cooled seat, double moon roof and rear sun shade add to the wow factor. Not to mention G's are all over the place in South FL whereas the Max still turns heads. Will try to post pics after the tint is done this weekend.

New to the Max.org fam, This is my first Max, very happy, the quality of this car is awesome, little road noise even with the 19" rims. inside, the Max feels like a 80K euro sport sedan ( audi, BMW, MBenz) take your pic, it is built very sound and with alot of quality and attention to detail. got mine on sept. 6, got rid of my 06 Altima SE-R. i took her right off the showroom, windows were tinted already, just waiting for a cat back system to come out, the way Nissan made the exhaust for this Max seems almost muranoish with the muffler midway down the catback then with 2 more at the exhaust tips. alot of power to be made from simple bolt ons....

Can anybody upload a video or explain how the dual moonroofs work. The dealers in my location won't get any premium models until the beginning of november

The dealer told me that only the front moonroof opens. The rear one is just glass.

i took the first part of our intake out, woke the engine up a little, you can hear the engine more now at around 4k, also dove under the car today to look at the whole exhaust system... ( holy crap there is ALOT of restriction after the main cat ) 1 big *** muffler like on the Murano, then we get a resonator before each of the final 2 mufflers plus some un-needed pipe bends at the end. a Cat back system should give us some good bolt on numbers for more power so we can seek out and stomp on the new Acura TL's and TL-S's

My dad just bought one of these, 5 Maxima's in a single household now. My 2002 and 04 and his 04, 98, and the brand new 09. So far no complaints, haven't "earned the privilege to drive it" yet lol but its a pretty fierce car, turns head when driving down the street.

At least you know both your wife and your new Maxima will be waiting for you this coming February. Consider this post as a salute from the ORG to a good soldier. We appreciate what you are doing.

blackmamba or anyone else, if you don't mind saying, how much does tinting usually go for. I have never even thought about doing it before but it looks so nice on the new max, so when I get my hands on one I am going to seriously consider it. Thanks

$145 + tax for mine, lifetime warranty. But I'm a repeat customer and used my "discount" card from the last time.

Mamba,
why in the world would you powder coat the rims that color, personally I would have gone black all the way. Not giving you flack with your selection but just take your time on the upgrades/accessories with this sweet car.........

I am a noob so I can't post my pics yet but just wait and see I think you guys will enjoy what you see.... Got my 20's today

Anyone buy SV with Sport and nothing else? Seems like the price is right at 35 MSRP (I'd guess you could get it out the door for a little less than that).

Is the NAV really worth 2300 bucks?? It seems you get everything else EXCEPT the Nav and Backup camera (for what I have no idea) with SV + Sport

The only reason I got NAV is because I didnt want to settle for a flip out NAV unit later on.

Yea but its tempting to save the 2400 bucks and just get the SV with sport...but doesn't that leave the nav screen area looking bland? Is the screen even in color without the tech package?

New here and trying to post but having some difficulty. Just picked up a new 09, However the climate control driver side blows hot after setting at 63 degrees. No adjustment its either cold at 60 or super hot at 63 the other side works fine. Any one have this problem with the new model?

TIA

Dave
