Like you, I find some pearlecsent whites very tasteful; even beautiful.
lol. We do get sun here, alberta isn't exactly the arctic circle. I just loved the classy look of the black. I think in 15 years it will still look like a new car (minus the scratches and swirls of course) where as the greys to me will look dated after a couple years. Know what I mean? But yes I agree, pearlescent is quite beautiful.

Yeah; I have a bro and sis-in-law living in Kanai, Alaska, a sis and bro-in-law living in Columbus Montana, and I have been in every state. I have seen the sun from up there. By squinting.

I live near latitude 33.5 N, which puts me almost exactly 10 degrees north of the Tropic of Cancer (northernmost place where the sun can be directly overhead). That means the sun around June 21st will come within 10 degrees of being directly overhead on my home.

By contrast, those souls living in Edmonton, Alberta are at latitude 53.5 N, which means the sun can never be higher than 30 degrees from overhead, even on its most-northern reach. And we won't mention winters.

To be fair, I deplore the six (or longer) blistering summer months we have here in the south Georgia sun, where the temps in the shade are always ten degrees warmer than those official thermometers the weather bureau keeps in their office fridge (on orders from the Chamber of Commerce), and the humidity can be brutal. Far more miserable than the 100 degrees plus in which I spent two years in the southern Arizona desert. In summer, I envy Canadians.

It speaks well of this Maxima that it can run in 5% humidity 100 degree Arizona desert heat, 100 degree heat with 100 percent humidity in Georgia, choking thick industrial Iron Belt smog in the midwest and northeast, and brutal minus 50 degree Canadian winters, and just keep on ticking. I feel comfortable in this '09 Maxima anywhere and everywhere.

As the starter & car alarm I'm Installing is the Autopage C3-RS-915 LCD and the Bypass I purchased was from Idatalink model number ADS-DLSL CA 2. I would like to get it for the 2009 Maxima SmartKey/Push Starter wiring to make sure If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

Ocean Grey Should Have Been Titled Ocean Blue. I Love this color. On the Nissan website the color they display for Ocean Grey looks almost silver. In person the actual color looks nothing like that.

I second that observation. I realize it is difficult to exactly replicate colors online, but in car colors, paint colors, shingle colors, clothes colors, brick colors, etc, etc, I never cease to be extremely disappointed at how VERY FAR online colors sometimes are from reality. Varying slightly is understandable. But I see absolutely no excuse, other than incompetent indifference, for the very wide disparity we often find online.

Ocean 'Grey' is actually a pleasant and attractive soft, 'dusty' blue. This color is exactly the same as the 'Satin Blue Pearl' color on my 2000 SE. I always got nice compliments on that color.

One of the things I liked about the color when I saw it at the dealership is that I have yet to see another 7th gen in person with the same color. I think a little bit of that is due to the terrible online color that they have for Ocean Grey. It doesnt look very attractive online at all so im guessing that now many people bothered to look for it. The black and whites look great online just as they do in person so those are what most people pick. I was looking for the Dark Slate color myself before this one caught my eye. It having the most loaded package at the dealership helped seal the color decision aswell.

Another reason you haven't seen another beautiful Ocean Grey 7th gen yet is because this is a new color that was not available during the '09 model year. But then I see from your posts elsewhere here that you already knew that. Your color will probably be rather unique on the highway for many more months. Enjoy!

I was torn between the Ocean Grey and Radiant Silver. I opted to get the Radiant Silver as it was the sport model with the monitor package located in my area. The Ocean Grey is harder to find here in CT. My least favorite was the mystic jade...

dark slate is what i have. wanted to get the black at first (test drove the black first) but it was spoken for already. Jade and Dark slate were the other two options at the time. Dark slate was a no brainer for me and it has really grown on me since then. I think it is a good balance w/o being too dark. will post some pics of it cleaned when i can.
