Keep in Mind for Age Groups
One thing we all have to realize when looking at this poll is that the main reason why the numbers are so high for lower age groups particularly in the 20s and 30s is because that is the exact age group that would be the likeliest to be an avid Internet user. Likewise, the majority of those who would actually make an account on a message board and participate would also fall into these age groups.
I'm sure if we did a general poll of the entire website, we would be [not] surprised to find that it would somewhat closely mirror this same poll.

I was 19 when I got my first car which was an 05 Maxima SE (bought in 06). I got my second car, a '12 Maxima SV Premium in March and I'm 26 now. The Maxima to me was always the top of it class because when I was in high school this girl, Victoria, brought me home in her 2003 GLE and it was so fast! I told myself I just had to get a car like that...and I did...and I probably always will.
CONGRATS on the Max MAXX, you will love it. If it's warm where you are today open the roof and blast the BOSE!

Thanks Propa!
It's exactly what I did too! hahaha.
Nice cool fall day sunroof open blasting the Bose (Tech N9ne)
Makes me want to save up for an audio system. But as far as I've known in the past hooking up a system with a factory Bose setup can be a pain in the ***.
At least it was for me when I had an Eddie Bauer 98' Explorer many years ago.
The Bose are nice, but just not nice enough.

Interesting Topic
First off, this is my first post ever on this sight. I have belonged to many forums and am usually pretty active on them, and I have been running through threads here for a while and decided to make an account.
Anyway, I'm glad to see all the interest in Maxima's, I suppose I never realized they had quite the following.
I'm 27 years old, and have owned the following vehicles:
1. 1990 Ford Bronco (miss her to death!)
2. 1995 Ford Explorer (great vehicle)
3. 1989 Ford Escort (gas saver/beater)
4. 1992 Ford Escort (replacement gas saver/beater after I destroyed the one above int he woods!)
5. 1998 Ford Taurus (hated it)
6. 1997 Firebird (loved it)
7. 1996 T-Bird (loved it)
8. 1988 F-150 (trying to relive my Bronco memories)
9. 1992 Ford Mustang (still have, but she's going soon )
when I reached this threshold it was summer 2010 and I had just graduated college. I realized I needed a pretty reliable vehicle and decided to buy a 2010 Nissan Altima. Well the Altima was short lived with me, but I did like it a lot and last summer found my 2009 Maxima (cert. preowned) and at the time it had 22K on it.
After the test drive I loved it. Altima was turned in on the spot. That was about 16 months ago. The Maxima now has $63K on it.
Yikes!! $41K in 16 months. Exactly why I needed the Maxima over the Altima, I am in my car waaaay to much. Anyhow, Enjoyed this thread and look forward to further explorations into the other sections.

I am 22 with a White 2009 Maxima, Premium Package with Navi. Financed the vehicle from Quebec, Canada.
This is my second vehicle, first that I bought myself. I previously owned a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5SL tastefully modded.
I live in Toronto, Ontario.

I just turned 40 this year and decided to finally cave in and buy an automatic as my daily driver since my wife does not drive standard shift cars. Here's a short car history:
- 84 Renault Alliance (only used car I've owned)
- 93 Hyundai Scoupe
- 95 Honda del Sol (former 2nd car)
- 99 Honda Civic
- 04 Nissan Sentra
- 04 Nissan Altima (wife's car)
- 04 Mazdaspeed Miata (current 2nd car)
- 09 Hyundai Sonata
- 10 Mazda CX-7 (wife's current car)

Just bought mine....
28. Just bought mine and I'm new here. Its really cool to find a place where people are interested in this car and aren't d*ck measuring with brands/models/engines/mods like some other 'tuner' or enthusiast sites I've seen.

Bought my 2011 just a few weeks ago. I'm 35. I had a Toyota Tacoma pickup that I bought when I was 19 and just now upgraded. The truck would have probably gone on forever, but someone rear-ended me and it became a total loss. I was looking at Accord's to be practical, but just loved the look of this Maxima. I also liked that it had a bigger engine and some additional options that the Accord didn't have. Plus, EVERYONE drives an Accord, so I wanted something a little different. To be completely honest, this forum is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing cause I've already found out a good bit of helpful information from reading all the posts. However, it's a curse because all of the issues that people are having make me a little paranoid!! I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones that don't have any issues.

I am 28. I have had my '09 for two years and I have loved every minute of it. Everyday I am learning how to do things myself on it and I enjoy playing around with it. It is definitely a step up from my last car, '04 Chevy Monte Carlo. Walked into a dealership looking for a Pontiac G8 GXP and walked out with my Max... Never regreted it...

I'm sure if we did a general poll of the entire website, we would be [not] surprised to find that it would somewhat closely mirror this same poll.

68 and on my second Maxima. My first was a 2004 SL and had it for 10 years with multiple problems but it was a first model of the 6th gen. I have a 2014 SV now and hopefully all the bugs from 2009-2013 have been ironed out.
