If you can get past the fuel pump issues, the 2007-2010 335i is a performance bargain. BMW dropped the second turbo for 2011, but left it in the 335is. With the older 335i, you've been getting the upgraded model all along.

Absolutly, it is sick. I have yet to take it into a BMW dealer so I don't know if and how many times the previous owner changed the fuel pump. I'm crossing my fingers but you really can't know. Either way the extended warranty is dope but I hate the feeling that I'm on a timebomb. Anyway you cut it though it's awesome. Can you tell that I like it?

Congrats on the 335i I drove a 2010 335i I was in love with the pull like yeah this **** got power drove the 2010 328i also a couple months back no ball's Maxima's will kill those hands down. But should get the Performance Chip it like 800 bucks but gives you 80 more HP nice!!And doesn't kill the warranty!!

Nice car! My brother just bought a lightly used convertible E92 335. Pretty nice car, but the dealer put some nasty buffer swirls in it I'll have to buff out properly.

Hey guys,

Just installed some white LED angel eye bulbs to replace the yellow stock halogens.

I love this thing! As I was inside my wheel well installing them, I looked to my left only to find the beautiful gunmetal sport 19's of a dark slate maxima rolling into the spot next to me...

Looks real nice man! I feel so loyal to my Maxima, lol. I wouldn't be able to swap it that easy, it would HAVE to be a newer Nissan/Infiniti. Im glad you were able to move on, and I must say, you made quite the upgrade!!!

To the BMW or a Porsche in about a year. When business picks back up, and I go from making big bucks to huge bucks again.

Nice car but I have tw0 friends with the 335I coupe and another with the awd coupe and they have a lot of nagging issues...things always breaking. IMHO the 5 series and especially the new 550 is an amazing car and nice to look at too. The real BMW's are the 5 & 7 series. The 6 is not a favorite of mine or any of the SUVs...I think the X6 reminds me of a Mazda 3 on steroids! LOL! You better have a warranty and after that some deep freaking pockets man! Good luck with your new ride though.

Thanks man.

Nope, I've got very shallow pockets.

Never had a HPFP replaced and I'm going on 42k miles...

Haha, not yet... waiting for springtime I think. I gotta be honest though, I'm leaning towards the PROcede instead, unless the JB4 comes out by the time I'm on the market. The PROcede is a bit more expensive, but has auto-tune and much more advanced datalogging. Arguably a bit 'safer' on the engine too. We'll see what's out there once I'm ready.

Ah yes... forgot about that one! Either way, you can't go wrong IMO! The gains with a PnP unit like either of those are something Nissan/Infiniti people have wet dreams about!

Talking Just to play "Devil's Advocate"

Hey Annino! What are you still doing on the Maxima forums! I think you're having "separation" issues from your Maxima

But Good Luck with the 3i, especially in the winter snow with a rear-wheel drive in CT up-down hill roads

Hahaha, you know it! That thing was sweeeet but I have the need for speed and a proper transmission!

Snow tires will be mandatory, but luckily I'm right on the coast so snow shouldn't be TOO bad...

That's my thing with the BMWs nowadays - hearing all this repair issues and if I do get one, I want a 5xi.

Transmission - I'm honestly spoiled by the CVT though must admit, not as quick as my '07 Altima SE on D but is fun on Ds.

I know this thread is done with but is there anyways we can get through to nissan to keep a manual transmission??? I remember the ford guys got through to like a "car and driver" to use the gt500 to compete with the camero and it worked, all I'm saying is that, is there any connects with nissan to keep the maxima line with a manual option???... I'm sure our voices count for something...

Were here to discuss how Annino's 335i's gonna eat everything on the road when he gets his procede tune, not to try to get a bandwagon together to get a 6spd in the 7Gen Maxima.
