2012 Maxima remote start problems

I am an installer for an Audio /Alarm shop and have installed an Avital remote start on 2012 Maxima . Used DEI /Express kit bypass module.Installed according to all directions but could not find the a/c circuit it says to energize under the hood at EDM? Remote start works fine as far as starting engine /lock/unlock/trunk open/ but for some reason the cruise wont work and now the check engine light is on..Directions I have went up only to 2011..thats all DEI has avalible..I am thinking since the remote start isnt turning on the circuit that controls the a/c it is making the check MIL come on. Has anyone done a 2012 Maxima? if so any help is appreciated? Also the BCM is behind the instrument cluster..WITH TAMPER PROOF SCREWS!! so i cant get to the lock/unlock factory plug to add trigger to activate Avital Unit with factory remote,,Any suggestions?? BTW this is a Push Button Start

You should try posting this in the audio/electronics section

I did mine in my 2010 and a 12 should be exactly the same. What module you using?

I too had a check engine come on while checking and testing everything. Once you get everything working just clear it and it won't come back on.

Were you able to get to the required wires without removing the BCM? I'm trying to get a remote starter installed in my 2012 maxima, but the installer I took it to said he can't get the BCM out, so he can't install it. He said he knows some guys at other shops, and they said they break off some plastic tabs and zip-tie the BCM back in place. Does this seem like a standard procedure for the maxima?

Thanks.

No I'd take that max and drive out of there anyone who wants to break things to install something isnt qualified and I'd go elsewhere

I'm actually inclined to see if there's a solution so I can let this guy do the install. He's unwilling to break the plastic tabs, which is why he called to tell me he wouldn't be able to install it. I thought that was respectable. He said he knows some installers at other shops, and they regularly will break the tabs and tie the BCM back into place.

I found this tool and asked him if he'd be willing to try again if I bought the tool for him:

I found a discussion on another site that said that it works for removing the security screws on the Nissans. I'm not sure if I can post the link to the other discussion, so I won't.
