New DRL for Maxima 7th Gen

This DRL was introduced as an accessory for 7th Gen Maxima in Nissan showroom in Bahrain and it costs with fixing around $622. It's expensive now but I will be waiting for the price to be dropped.

What do you think?

Looks decent.. Does that involve getting a new bumper?

hmm seems kinda pricey. my V-LEDS switchback DRL's were 60 bucks and I cut the opening in the brake duct with a dremel

You are absolutely right, Ghozt. I was also advised by a guy working there that I should wait till the price drops.

Could you please post some pics of the DLR's on your Max? Thanks

+1^ They take away the clean look that this max has up front. Too much bling.

the DRL's look out of place, the only DRL I'd pay for is something that is integraded into the headlamp housing.

Otherwise, I'll leave it all alone.

I have to agree with BBmaxi on this one. I like Ghozt's DRL lights better. Awesome job. Nissan should of placed it on the brake ducts instead. Again $200+ is pricey and I'd rather go to VLEDS.com like Ghozt.

I just did switchbacks in the turn signal spot, constant on white led to off and flashing amber when turn signal or 4 ways activated. Simple pnp and much better option and look imo.

@Diehard where you've placed those DRLs is kinda pointless/defeats the purpose. The purpose is so that other drivers can see you that's why most DRLs are designed inside or near the headlights....

Had to place them there because when i ordered it I had no idea it was gonna be so big. I was planning to mount it next to my fog lights where I had my previous DRLs . I woulda have to cut something to mount it there don't wanna cut nothing. Didn't feel like returning them and waiting in the mail for smaller ones too impatient.. I mainly have it there for the look tho kinda makes the front pops more on the day light

Zoe, with that being the case, then Ghozt's DRL's are also kinda pointless?

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the only way to get them near the headlights would be to get a new headlight assembly that already has them built in.

Yeah real talk they don't make the kind Ghozt has (had?) any more. They were from exledusa if I recall correctly and now all that is available are morimoto x.drl which suck; I've literally gone through three or four sets because one pod would randomly burn out. Yes they were replaced for free but you have to factor in time and labor to fix, plus having the car look gaffe with burnt out pods while you wait. In my experience: not worth it

Not worth it. Take my advice. Don't take my advice, I couldn't care less. If you do decide to try it out you will inevitably run into the same fate that I did.
