OE wiper rubber removal and installation
Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove the rubber from a OE 2009 wiper blade?
Any tips on installing the OE refill would be helpfull as well.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure why your emphasis on OE; I have a set of Bosch I really like, Goodyear before that I think. Always buying the non spring design/straight edge look.
If you haven't purchased the blades yet, lots of auto stores will install them for free.
Otherwise I would look for a plastic tab or button on the wiper and push it to slide the whole blade off of the arm. The new blade should come with instructions to install it, usually self explanatory.
Good luck.

I already have the refills...ordered over the internet from a Nissan Dealer. Wife has an '08 Altima and they use the same blade so it makes everything easy. I like the fact that the OE blades hooks on the wiper arm behind the blade, not on top as aftermarket blades do...a very clean look.
There were no instructions, just the rubber refills.

Sorry I couldn't help. Not sure of your year.
I've had rubber strip replacements before where there was a piece of metal I could bend to slide it right out.
I assume everything is plastic now, so maybe a cap on the end? That's all I have...

There should be an small arrow pointing either left or right on the wiper insert, you want to pull the wiper insert the opposite way of the arrow. With a little effort it should just slide right now. Then you just slide the new insert in. I have done this several times already and it pretty easy after the first time.
