Custom CAI question

Just wondering if a better relocation is a must or not.
I havent checked under the hood but i know id rather have a true CAI then waste money on a SRI and let it suck in hot engine bay air.

I was debating on getting a build your own kit.

Any thoughts from any of our experienced guys on here?
