Dash lights since the cold snap

Hey guys. My 2009 sv prem has randomly started showing the VDC off icon since the recent cold weather. It goes away after you shut the engine down and restart but shortly after it reappears. Any ideas?

check your brake fluid...i heard there is a sensor in there that when you accelerate and as the fluid moves around the VDC light will flash... i would check that first and top it up if necessary and see if that does the trick...
