I think that if you are going to try to use this type of holder for a tablet it will be a little less secure. The tablet would have to be pretty lightweight...I think that even phones like perhaps the Note 2 would be pushing it...

 

Sorry for the delay. Installed my mountek in my maxima and crv and both work great, but I prefer the placement in my maxima more. It's just where our cd slot is placed is perfect for viewing the screen on the phone. As far as install and stability I didn't have any issues with it. I've been through a few mounts and I think this is a winner.. Thx again t200 for the recommendation...

 

Glad everyone who got the mount is enjoying it. The Max's CD slot is at the perfect height for this mount. It's minimally obtrusive and makes not having a system Nav a lot easier to bear since I can just use my iPhone.

 

Yeah T200 thanks for sharing this def worth the money plus can be used for a long time well as long as they keep putting cd slots in cars

 

Is there a way to do a clean cable run to power the phone?

 

For my last mount I went through the centre console and came out in the footwell area.. Looks clean
