Almost all cars have leather that is plastic coated and only some of the surfaces are even plastic coated leather, the rest (such as the non-seating surfaces) being vinyl. I see Mothers uses the wording "finished" leather surfaces in their product description so maybe this treats plastic and vinyl as well.

I purchased this along with their foam cleaner a couple of weekends ago. I've only applied it once so far, but it seemed to condition pretty well and soften my seats up some. I probably need to do a couple more applications, but so far it seems like a good product.
