Bad transmission bearing?
Bad transmission bearing?
Brought the Max in to a shop because of a steady vibration from the front end especially from 40-60 mph.. They drove it suspecting a bad wheel bearing but after checking said to get the tranny checked because they think it's a bearing that has gone bad in there. Anyone else experience this with the Max?
Just replaced my drivers side bearing today. Usually they get steadily worse and its obvious which side but this bearing hung in there for more than a month and I still couldnt tell. Turn left right bearing gets louder - turn right left bearing gets louder. Thought for sure it was the right but ended up being the left side. Replaced the lower control arms too. That rear bushing is a weak link. Went with MOOG. Wish they would solve that problem. Same crap as Nissan. Should be good for another 95K.
