Question Possible to install an aftermarket in 2014 Max w/color screen, non-nav?

I own a 2014 Maxima SV with the color screen (non-touch), and without nav.

Is it possible to add an aftermarket single-DIN radio under the top control portion of the dash, while keeping the climate controls which are located down below?

My dash looks like this :

------NON-TOUCH COLOR SCREEN------
--- BUTTONS AND CONTROL WHEEL ---

[TRIM]

--- CD SLOT AND RADIO CONTROLS ---

--- CLIMATE CONTROLS ---

I can't seem to find anything on the web or the forums... sounds like a tricky thing to perform. There doesn't seem to be dashkits available for this either.

Thanks!

If its any consolation I have a 2012 SV non premium package with the bose radio and it has the orange non touch display with radio and clock functions on top half and ac controls on bottom portion and ac control wheel below it. Seperate below is the CD changer and radio/aux controls. I was able to swap this HU out with a 6.2" Kenwood non nav touchscreen HU that coordinates with my bluetooth, volume, and channel (song) change buttons on the steering wheel. I had it installed by best buy and it came out very well. You will lose the clock on the top of the screen and radio info will not display but AC info will still show on top screen and perform as normal. Clock will be on aftermarket HU.

I have a 2012 S (non navigation/non -Bose) and am looking to update the display to a touchscreen. One question that I have is about the factory CD player. The TS I am looking at does not have a CD player. Will I be able to use the factory CD player with my new touchscreen? I am going to purchase a wiring adapter and I am hoping the CD player will work after its installed.

Thanks
