2010 Maxima Issues
2010 Maxima Issues
Ok, I am misfiring, bucking, jerking all over the place no matter in D, N, R, P. I first noticed the issue when i had all the coils and spark plugs changed. At first it was just random and it would go away for weeks. Now all it doesnt stop. When I had the car scanned, One of the cylinders showed that it was misfiring, so I had the guy come back and change it, and the problem didnt change. He than replaced the VVT selonoid. Nope. Fuel injector, nope. I even went to see the muffler shop because the catalytic Convertor code popped up and they see nothing wrong with it. Ive already put in alot of money on parts and labor and still no justice. So help please?
I think I had the same issues as you. Nissan had my car for 3.5 weeks and struggled with diagnosing it. My service tech at the time said it was the most difficult diagnoses they've had all year (2014). It ended up being they replaced almost all of the cylinders. There were a lot of misfiring's which caused codes to pop up. This is definitely something that only Nissan would be able to properly diagnose. Good luck. Another issue with my 10 Max is that I just replaced my 9th wheel bearing. I have 196k on the car now. I do baby the car. Good luck!
Soho, How many miles on the car?
Any codes for MAF sensor? Is It clean? How’s air filter?
My 2010 has 76k miles. Only replaced couple rear wheel bearings and a windshield so far
It could use new shocks & sway bar endlinks along with a control arm refresh. Steering and ride is a bit sloppy
