Floor jack placement

Is it safe to jack up our maximas using the front subframe? If not, where is the best place to use a floor jack, besides the spots intended for the scissor jack.

There's a little metal loop for tying down the front of the car in transport just under the middle front of the car under/behind the plastic bumper. I usually place my jack here and then put jack stands under the the scissor jack points once I have the car up.
