Humming sound on the Rear Tire

I have a humming sound coming from the driver's side rear tire. Did anyone experienced it before?

Couple of things like a bad tire, poor alignment, or a wheel bearing can cause this. Move the tire from the rear to the front and see if the noise follows. If it does its the tire if not its probably the wheel bearing.

lift it in the air and spin the tire by the hand with a mechanics stethoscope but sounds like wheel bearing

Most likely a wheel bearing, VERY common problem on these cars.

I have a 2012 Maxima SV and only got 33000 miles. it only makes the sound when I'm driving more than 40 mph. No grinding sound just humming. its really annoying.

Definitely a wheel bearing imo, I could be wrong but I'm definitely leaning towards a bad bearing. I been through 2 of them in my Maxima and 2 on my wife's. Same symptoms as yours and that's what it was!

While driving straight, turn the wheel slightly to the left...does the sound get more pronounced? A bad wheel bearing will make more sound when more force (pressure) is applied.

@WileECoyote It doesn't do anything but the humming. No grinding or anything. Just the humming sound.

I really think it's a bearing going bad. get it checked by a mechanic just to confirm but from what you're saying it's a bearing noise, Again a very common problem with these cars.

I have to agree with MaximusN8. I would still try rotating wheels front to back just to rule out the tire.
