245/45r19. Anyone actually done it and have pics?

Hello all,
Wife's max is up for new tires. We went 235/45r19 last round to get some more side wall than the 245/40 and it rides.good but now we are about to fix the 5th rim she's curbed. There is zero curb guard with this tire setup. Tires are due again and I want to put a 245/45r19 on it. We are looking for ride quality, pot hole protection, and curb guard.

Would love to hear if anyone's actually done it with no rub issues and maybe some pics.

Thanks all

I was considering the taller sidewall for my 2014 Sport as Goodyear Eagle RSA were a really good price in that particular size. I also figured the taller sidewall would handle potholes better. I don't think that small of a difference in sidewall would be an issue at all. Although I don't think the Maxima would look as good with the 45 sidewall so that is something to consider. If I remember correctly some on this site have gone with the 45's . You can try doing a search.

I ended up finding these Pirelli tires with the 40 sidewall at a great price online. I am very pleased with these tires. Probably the best I have had on any vehicle. Don't know how well they will prevent curb rash. Tell wife to park more carefully.
Pirelli Cinturato P7 AS Plus 245/40R19 98V XL-4 Ply Black Sidewall - All Season

Good deal in the 45 sidewall.
