Who'd have Thunk'd Cruise control
Had a very fun time troubleshooting a very intermittent cruise control failure mode where it would self dis-engage then if you tried to re-set would flash at you.

After a few days (I have just recently returned 3 days a week to the office) I noticed it only occured when dark (when headlights and running lights were on but even then, could last an hour or more before failure.)
A quick search on the internet revealed a lad who had the same type of issue who tracked it down to water in his passenger tailight assy. Surely, as often as I check mytaillight operationally, this couldn't be my issue.
Imagine my chagrin and shame when I took a closer look and sure enough, mine was half full of good ol H2O. Seems the "clear lens" delaminated from the rest and was allowing water in.
Two small holes to drain the water until the new assembly comes in (by the end of the week.) So far, so good.
Didnt see this anywhere here so I thought I would share my "who'd have Thunk'd it" moment for others who may start experiencing this as our 7th gens age.

Wow, Lt. I just started having this three months ago. I would just pull over and turn the car off, restart it, and all was well again. I will have to have look at my tail lights.
