Transmission

I have a 2014 maxima s and when down shifting in to the lower to gears it feels like it’s slipping. Anyone else with this issue? Possible issues and fix it ideas would be great. Also noticing that shifting out of park into drive there is a slight hesitation to shift in to drive. Any help would be awesome as I like to work on my own car as much as possible.

Are you qualified in CVT diagnosis and repair?
Do you have a lift in your garage?
Do you have a code reader that is compatible with the Nissan Consult 3 computer system?
Do you have the Nissan Factory Service Manual for your vehicle, or a subscription to ALLDATA?

If the answer is NO to any of the questions, you should not attempt to repair your car yourself.
