Delayed shifting from 1st to 2nd few drives a week

TL;DR: Anyone who is familiar with the delayed shifting issue know if I can use parts (TCM, 31036-4Y960 or 31036-4Y901) for a 2000 - 01 Maxima in my Australia 2000 Maxima that is the same as an Infiniti model I30?
Also, is the delayed shifting that people experience intermittent and only happens on some drives? Whereas other drives you wouldn't know you had the issue and it shifts smoothly? Or is it constant? Mine is very intermittent, one to a few drives a week at its worst.

-----

Hi everyone,

I have been searching this forum for ages in regards to the delayed shifting from 1st to 2nd gear being fixed by changing the TCM to 31036-4Y960 or 31036-4Y901.
There are a few threads about the issue, for example here.

I was confused about which part to use and was hesitant to drop money on it until knowing so I posted in the 'I am new here' thread and after some confusion, found out that my maxima (I am in Australia) is actually the same as an Infiniti model I30.
I have an Australia Nissan Maxima ST A33.

I'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction in regards to resolving this issue? Can I use the info from the threads I have read in regards to the TCM's if I am in Australia and this is US info? Should I look for info elsewhere?
I seem to have the delayed shifting issue, it only seems to happen a few drives a week (drive it every day over 70km's) and am not sure if it really is the same issue or not.
It seems to rev well over 2000rpm's and then clunks out of the first gear in to the next with a kind of harder than usual knock. Other drives it shifts fine and feels smooth. I am not one to put my foot down in this car.
I can tell when the issue is occurring because even when I have my foot just lightly on the accelerator and I hear it starting to sound like it really should have shifted by now and hasn't, suddenly it will finally shift and you can feel it more than usual and the revs go high. It only happens from the first shift, every other shift seems fine as far as I can tell. (honestly though I am clueless)

I got it serviced a few weeks back and they changed the transmission fluid and put in some sort of additive when I told them of the issue, but it still happens.
Anyone know anything about the TCM causing this issue in this model? All the threads are pretty old and I don't want to post on them and dig them up.

Thanks heaps everyone.

Edit: Its weird but when it happens on a drive, it will consistently do it every time I have to come to a stop then accelerate again, not putting my foot down at all. It will always be from first shift and have a noticeable delay. It will do it the whole drive consistently from that first shift each time I have stopped. Then the next time I drive, its just back to shifting normally and smoothly.

Will do once I get my reader back from a friend. I added a TL;DR to the post, my apologies.

No worries. Coincidentally, there have been two other new users who have posted in the last couple days with similar tranny issues that will be resolved when they replace their turbine and revolution sensors. I have a strong suspicion your issue may be resolved with the same repair.

Also, you may be able to help me as well. I want a Kenwood head unit that is only sold down under. I've looked for over a month for a vendor here in the states but apparently it is only offered in your neck of the woods and no Strayin retailers will ship internationally.. Think you might be interested in working with me? I need it shipped to Florida. I would purchase it and have it shipped to you then pay you to ship it to me. I'm just not sure what else to do and I'm dead-set on this stereo.

i have posted about my shifting issues but mine is skipping 2nd and going straight into 3rd. i have ordered a solenoid pack to replace mine and see if that resolves my problem.maybe your shifting issues could be leading up to what i have.

edit:
i used a scan tool on my car and had no transmission codes come up.
