Greetings,

I purchased my blk/blk SR on the 31st.

-$36,000 + tax. No other fees (At least that's how it was presented to me)
-$300 for GAP insurance

It came with splash guards, floor/trunk mats, and hide away trunk net.

I was wondering if anyone has purchased one in Canada. Curious what discounts we might be seeing up here. New to forum so sorry if this is the wrong place.

I'm curious to know if Nissan has it up there. for price negotiation, u may have better luck negotiating online vs in person. Thn check out the vehicle once u are satisfied with the price.

Absolutely. I have looked at them at two different dealers but didn't have time for a test drive. Going on Friday. Located in Toronto and there are lots of them on the lot. Haven't seen any in the wild yet. Our option packages seem a little different then yours (ie what is included with each model).

Cool. I'm looking forward for ur impression and wondering how much Nissan charge for it there. I'm still impress with its performance and interior, I should have bought a Platinum. Lol. I'm sure my SL and I will go a long way. i've named her Maxine, and blessed by my church. There should be more discounts out there, as this isn't moving as fast as Nissan hopes. Use everything u know to get the best deal. Post it here, so more folks could use the strategy.

Been years since I have been on here. Just traded in my 2007 maxima Se dark slate for a 2016 sr in pearl white, with splash guards, illuminated kick plates, floor mats. 35,800 +tax and title. Love the car especially the pearl white on the dark crome 19s. Wanted a white 07 but they did not have one in stock. Will probably be getting the black sport spoiler, diffuser, tint and wrap the top black soon.

I just noticed the lease deal on the S has dropped from $319 to $299 per month. $362 for an SR.
They are also offering a little bit of cash back and some financing offers but these don't amount to much.
I might have to jump on that lease.

Correction, they've just been lowered another $20.
S - $279
SR - $342

I'm so glad you brought this to my attention. There is a new 0.9% APR for 36 months offer. This is exactly what I wanted to hear 3 hours before buying my Maxima.

Looks like 1.9% for 60 and 500 NMAC cash...looks like the deals are on the way. Been waiting it out for this...but trade value has to be legit too or the saving doesn't add up.

All the dealers I spoke to would only offer the prices they did if you finance through NMAC. If you bring your own money the cost was higher.

Lease offers differ by city?

Why are the lease offers different according to city?

All around central IL, St. Louis, and Indianapolis the S leases for $299.
In Chicago the lease is $279.

Why would there be a difference?

Thanks

Leasing question

Regarding the lease deals offered, do you have to follow the terms exactly as written in order to get the advertised monthly payment?

For example, the terms list full MSRP. Negotiating a lower MSRP should result in a lower monthly payment but now you aren't following the exact terms of the lease deal.

Does my question make sense?

I'm asking because I've never leased and want to make sure I get a good deal.

Thanks again.

Canada-White Platinum

Just closed on a 16 platinum in pearl white. I think packages are slightly different in Canada but I added in: wheel locks, ground lighting, accent lighting and rubber mats. MSRP was 44687 Sales price was 41,887 and after freight, air tax and some fees was 43,721 before taxes.

Next up some paint protection film and tinting set for next week. My job is technology related and I'm a bit of a geek, but I can't believe how many technology gadgets there are on this thing.

Negotiated price '16 Platinum

I made a 'resevation' online for mine before they were sold at the beginning/middle of May. I tried negotiating with the dealership before it arrived, make a deposit, etc. but they wasn't interested. So as I was talking back/forth with them on the expected arrival and test drove one of the base models, the salesperson tried to give me a tip on the trade-in value, etc. and I shared that I appreciated it but I knew what I was going to pay and if it wasn't liked, I would go to another dealer. YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO WALK AWAY in a negotiation. If you aren't, they hold the power. Plain and simple.

Long-story short, I got the typical ~2500 knocked off that I've gotten on past Maxima's that I've purchased. Nothing special. But even my sales person was surprised since they said they weren't negotiating with prices from what she'd seen. Back to my earlier statement, have to be willing to walk away and there way too many dealerships in a larger metropolitan area for them to corner you.

Additionally, the more add-ons you get, the more room there is. On the base models there isn't much room for negotiation but all the add-ons are marked up and there's EASILY enough room for negotiation when you have them on the car.

This is good advice about being able to walk away. I go in honest and straight forward about the deal Im looking for on all sides, trade, buy, interest rate incentives, and any other offers. last two times i bought at this one nissan dealer we made a deal within an hour. With the 8th gen I spent 90 minutes and the deal wasn't even close so i got up and left. This was a different dealer, and the results were much different.

I have hoped that there would be some incentives by now.
Spoke with the dealer I've been with for the last 3 lease's and it being
end of month, hoping something would give. Well they are still not willing
to do much. For me I am seeing a lease of about $115 dollars more a month then I currently have. That is way to much for me. They tried to tell me that these are selling very good so there is no need to discount. I can't agree with that. They now have 33 on there lot. Interesting they don't have the color combination I want. I am also very disappointed with Nissan as they have
no lease loyaty cash on the 2016 Maxima. So I will wait it out. My lease ends
Nov 9 2015. I can also extend it mothly.

Well the wait for me is over. In just a few hours (1pm) I will be picking up 2016 Maxima Platinum - Gun Metallic/Cashmere, mats, splash guards and Premium Spoiler to be added next week. Yesterday the dealer I've been working with called and agreed to my leasing numbers. Went to see it last night and all I can say is I can't wait to start driving it later today.

It pays to be patient and stick to what is a fair deal for both the Dealer and you.
I am sure end of month played a role in this.

Here are the details on my recent purchase.

2016 Maxima Platinum
Deep Blue Pearl / Charcoal

Floor mats, splash guards, illuminated kick plates, premium spoiler.

MSRP: $41,850

Paid: $37,111 (includes $500 rebate & all doc / prep fees) + $2,598 GA car tax. After license and title I was out the door at $39,750.

Financed for 60 months at 1.9% APR with $3,000 down (all on credit card).

Could've probably held out a little longer for a better deal, but the car was exactly what I wanted in terms of colors and accessories, so I didn't want to let it get away.

That seems like a good deal to me. That's about what my out-the-door was, with about the same accessories, and mine is a SR. I sometimes wish that this thread would disappear, because I know it's going to bother me at some point when people start getting deals way below what I paid, but I guess that's what happens when you buy early. I had no choice, though, because my lease was up (that will be the last time I lease). I'm sure at some point I will just have to stop checking this thread.

I purchased the vehicle from Sheehy Nissan Of Waldorf. Its about a 35 Minute drive from D.C. According to the GM I caught them at the end of a financial quarter, the end of the month, and during a rain storm. The next day Truecar had increased the price by 2K.

Well congrats, that's a hell of a deal.
No such luck here in central IL.
I'm going to test an Acura TLX and Infiniti Q50 today. They seem to be willing to move more than Nissan at the moment.
Enjoy your Max.

I paid $1307 for the extended 7yr, 100,000 mile warranty. I do have a $100 deductible once the factory 3 yr., 36,000 mile warranty expires.

There was no charge for the 10 yr, 150,000 mile powertrain warranty.
