  4. Rohana RFX5 19x8.5 Silver wheels with 35mm offset.
  5. BC racing coil-overs-not sure of the # of inches it’s lowered but that’s how so wanted it.
  6. 35% all around window tint.
  7. Powerstop Z23 Evolution Sport Drilled and Slotted Front and Rear Brake Kit - initially had the big brake kit with Akebono calipers but went back to OE due to the subtle squeaking from the big brake setup that was driving me crazy...pun not intended. If anyone’s interested in getting them I still have then packaged.
Future Mods:
  1. Stillen rear diffuser and front lip splitter.

I am interested in the Akebono brake kit? Did you get the kit with the 2 piece rotors from Z1motorsports?

I have been considering this as well! My hesitation is that where I am we have to mount a licence plate at the front.

I really like it but it is a little Mustang-like... These pics are not of my car but I saw these on another chat. These are some beautiful Maxima's that used this or similar part.

Where can I fine 8th gen custom parts!!! Do they make anything specific for my car?

so far I have 19" midnight rims, coil overs, front splitter and wrap on the roof column. I'd like to get a customer hood with vents and maybe wide body package. Btw this is a SR model 2016

Lowered on Eibach Springs. 30% tint in front and 15% in back.

Installed a Sprint Booster today. Totally changes the factory programmed speed of the throttle body valve. Our cars are drive by wire. If you’re somewhat older or have driven an older car you may be familiar with the drive by cable system. This mod not only increases the aperture speed of the valve, it also gives you a getter feel of the throttle. I’m impressed

With the Sprint Booster - are you running the car in Normal or Sport mode?

Throttle response is noticeable in either mode. I leave it in normal mode most of the time. Switch it to sport once in a while when I wanna hear the engine sing. Btw I have stillen intake and catback which may make additional difference

Thanks for your reply! My Maxima is a 2017 and the throttle lag is something I’d like to reduce/eliminate - this sounds like this is the answer. Was installation pretty simple?

To make sure I understand - you keep the Maxima set on Normal mode and the Sprint Booster is set on Sport (I’m assuming). What number on the Sprint Booster controller have you settled on?

Installation is a simple wire harness that clips on top of the gas pedal. I’ve only had for 2 days and am leaning towards Sport 8 in Normal mode driving and Race 6 in Sport mode for my shifting pleasure.

Haven’t touched my 2019 Maxima S with 19 inch Midnight wheels. Wheels came from dealer not factory.

Wife wants to swap out the mirrors for turn signal mirrors. My concern is will there be a harness already in place to swap out without having to run wiring to the main harness.

She also wants to tint windows and get a black spoiler for rear deck lid.

Put a spoiler on it was pretty scary drilling the holes.

Looks nice...I did the same to my Accord years ago and my thought at the time...I can't believe I'm about to drill into a new car. I got over it and did the job just as you did. Someone has to drill into.

Is that an OEM spoiler? Instructions? Where did you buy it and cost?

I'm either going to get one like yours or a rear lip spoiler....something more subtle and not as heavy on the rear trunk lid. On the Accord I did, the lid shut down so fast because of the weight.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks I bought it from Amazon the brand is Spoiler King they have a web site also. It cist around $100 painted black already. Its very light and doesn't weigh the lid down at all when its up. My trunk still pops up when I hit the button.

I was looking at an oem but it was 3 times the cost. Im very happy with it. It did come with instructions, if your some what mechincally inclined you will have no problems. The hardest part was getting the bolts in on the sides since the Maxima braces are in the way.

Did you get the calipers apart of the Z23 powerstop brake kit? Are the compatible with the braking system? Or just the rotors and brakes... thinking about buying the same rotor/brake kit for my Max.

No, I purchased the original big brake kit that included the calipers from Z1 Motorsports.

So when you switch to the Z23 brakes and drilled rotors you kept the Z1 calipers on?

Factor rims powder coated

My rims had a ton of curb rash from recent owner. I found a place to fix them and have them powder coated for a good price. Had them done in satin black, like them alot more then what they came with.
