Just got a SL. Love the car. My nephew is driving my 2002 GLE now approaching 300k miles.

So, I went to hang my sportcoat in the back seat on the hooks that have been in every car I've owned and...no hooks!

Am I missing something??

 

I thought the same thing when I picked up my dry cleaning at work the first week I had the car. I got an SR about 3 weeks ago, loving it so far, but I've been hanging my dry cleaning on the handle above the window - no hook in mine either

 

Some Mfr's make a plastic hook that hangs off one of the rear ceiling handles.
Just have to remember where I saw it. I agree, one should be there. Anyone noticed they don't have a drivers ceiling handle on the Platinum's either?

I noticed that too a couple days in of owning the car. Went to go hang suit jacket, and nothing. A shame my Nissan Altima had it. I even believe on both sides.

 

yes. I don't understand what the big savings is about a cheap coat hanger and ceiling handle. It's all plastic.

 

Because "real sports cars" don't have back seats, so no room for hanging clothes, so Nissan omitted clothes hooks from "their" sports car. Wink
