Gas tank noise

Has anyone noticed when coming to a stop with their windows up and the radio off, you can hear the gas going back-and-forth and making the
"Glug"noise. Also when driving slowly over bumps you can hear it also.

I will be talking to the Nissan rep on this. That's enough to make me return the car. So annoying.

I've heard this with every vehicle I've owned. Haven't heard it in this vehicle yet

Let me know what the Nissan Rep says about this. I hear it too but have not had any time to take it in.

I have been driving since the 1940s, and have heard this in many of the vehicles I have driven, but only when things are very quiet around me. I noticed this a tad more in the 7th and 8th gen Maximas because these cars are a little quieter inside than the cars I have owned in the past. I don't think the dealer has any options with this situation. Redesigning the gas tank and fitting baffles inside would reduce the noise, but don't count on that happening before the 2018 model at the very earliest, and probably not then.

I hear it on mine too. So strange because I've never heard this on any of my cars in the past. Please let me know once you hear back from the dealer because I planned on bringing this up at my 1st 5k service.

I have also heard this on every car I or family have owned...which includes 3 Maximas (2005, 2007, 2012), and my dad's 2015 Versa Note and my 2015 Murano.
