Update the Website banner

Does anyone know who is in charge of updating the website banner? It is time to move the 7th gen down the like and premier our car.

Ha. I posted the same thing back in February and didn't get a single reply. Rochester made the current one. Here's what I posted:

But not your fault, as you were simply using the current banner to cover past gens. Most posters on this board were not even born yet when Datsun dealers were selling 1st generation Maximas. I remember car-pooling to work in a co-worker's 1983 diesel Datsun Maxima. My car at that time was a 1978 Datsun 200SX 5 speed manual coupe.

Lol yeah I count on older Maxima owners to enlighten me on what I don't know but I am always willing to learn. The oldest one I've seen was my grandpas 1988 Maxima. And for the time that was a pretty nice car the dash board lit up across with lights of pretty much anything going on with the car. I even think it had a voice that said door open lol. And of course a moon roof.

The '88 was the last year of the 2nd gen. I owned two 2nd gen (1985) Maximas (one for my wife), and yes, that voice admonished me of many things, such as 'fuel is low', 'lights are on', etc. If I had to choose the one Maxima generation that most affected my life, it would be the 2nd gen. That gen was so far advanced over everything I had driven since the 1940s, and I absolutely loved the styling. Both those two 1985 Maximas had over 200,000 miles on them when they left the family. I knew then that I would be a Maxima fan as long as they turned out such wonderful products.

Yeah he was the original Nissan owner in our family. He drove that car to the moon and back I believe. He kept it even when he bought a 2005 Maxima which he keeps in great condition. Then I took our whole family to the next level of Nissan. Lol we have Altimas. Sentras, Versas, Titans, and the Armada.
